Thomas Müller has had one of the greatest careers in the history of the sport, and sports altogether. Very few players have a bigger trophy cabinet than the German legend. The Raumdeuter has truly won it all with both Bayern Munich and Germany. However, after retiring from the national team and departing his boyhood club, his next move is uncertain.

It has been long rumored that Müller is keen on moving to the MLS, more specifically, LAFC. It seems as though financial hurdles for LAFC have arisen that are making this move more difficult than anticipated.

There appears to be a new name in the running now, with reports from meinbezirk.at claiming that Müller is considering a more unorthodox move to Austrian club Rapid Vienna. A historic club that boasts a large fan base and is only a 4 hour distance from Munich.

Perhaps Müller would prefer more familiarity at this point in his career. Vienna seems like a far more comfortable move than halfway across the world in Los Angeles. Nonetheless, it seems as though the German has some solid options to consider over the next weeks.
