Spotted this little cutie on my walk in
Switzerland!
Can anyone help me
identify it? With its long pink snout, grey fur, and chirping sounds, I'm thinking it might be a baby shrew. l've never seen anything like it here before… Nature never fails to surprise me. What do you think it could be?

A mole?
It’s a shrew (musaraigne) totally harmless. It can die from stress.
I’d say it’s a mole.

That is Stefan. Stefan the shrew. He likes walks at the lakes, wide open areas with wheat. His favorite meal are smaller animals. He is currently single and trying his luck in the city.
Be nice to him.

This animal (Spitzmaus) has ca. 95% of the same genes like humans.
