Wild to see the prices Ramore are trying to charge with the Open being in town

  1. Not worth it even at the old prices – Ramore used used to be good 20 years ago but pretty low grade pub food now

  2. Golfers are twats, never met one that’s not a pretentious cnut with their cardigans round their shoulders – let them pay it – glad it’s going to be pishing down too and hopefully that parade’s still going through the middle of it – enough rich idiots with second homes around the area without encouraging more, hope they see the very worst of this place 😂

  3. Don’t they have a food hygiene rating of 1?! Or at least they did a couple of months ago.

  4. I’ve eaten at a gordon ramsay restaurant lately and apart from the expensive steaks, this fucking Ramore is miles dearer.

  5. When I was a kid that place was full of yuppys. I went there for a meal a couple of years ago and it was so packed with the same form. Food was alright, atmosphere was pretentious. It was like living in a Kay’s Catalogue.

  6. Most overrated place going at the best of times. Fair play to them for capitalising off the Yanks though.

  7. I have zero sympathy for cafes, pubs, and restaurants since COVID. From what I can see it’s just constant price hikes and in my view got to the point where it’s just price gouging..

    This is a perfect e.g

  8. idk, isn’t it a thing that only rich americans frequent the ramore during the open? i’m torn because i think it’s chill to directly take their money and put it into our economy, but it’s so not chill to charge these prices ever lol

  9. And I thought 18 USD for a burger in Oregon, USA was insane! £20 is a joke

  10. Even wealthy people can smell a rip off. They might get away with it for a while, but it won’t go unnoticed.

  11. Everybody’s trying to extract as much as possible from the Open, it seems. My in-laws said yesterday that pints of Guinness cost 8 quid in several pubs in Portrush. If I was in town, I‘d rather go to Lacada‘s newly opened taproom, LOL.

  12. For somewhere that has rats running about it 😂

  13. Never got the hype anyway, even at the old prices.
