1. As one of my dear Ukrainian friends put it back in October, Biden / the DNC were “predictable bad” and Trump was “unpredictable”, as recent events have just reminded us.

   With anything else, and as this article correctly points out, it’s important to see what actually materializes.

   The announced $300 million is beans, yes, when compared to the aid that came through the DOD to bolster and clean out our own stockpiles by sending old stuff we don’t use (e.g. ATACMS) to Ukraine. It was a money machine that the DOD should be loathe to let go of.

   Those that are locked into “King DJT” are operating on faith and there’s no rational argument or number that’ll convince them otherwise. Personally? I have hopes in the projected $1 trillion DOD budget that’s keeping things like the HIMARS factory in Alabama propped up, i.e. the forces of our massive military-industrial complex that are outside and more everlasting than any administration.

   Fingers crossed for the sanctions. 85 cosponsors in the Senate is enough to overturn a veto.

2. Remember how he ordered the GOP to lock down assistance for Ukraine for 6+ months last year which completely reversed the war’s momentum in Russia’s favour? He wasn’t even elected at the time.
