I was downstairs when this happened today (around 11pm) My mom was asleep upstairs and i heard someone opening the mailbox door thingy (idk what its called) and I saw this sitting there, i picked it up and opened it and I panicked. So I called my dad (who was working) and I told him i saw this there, whilst we were calling, a random man opened the mailbox and peeked inside, I think he saw me and then he ran off. I was so scared and I woke my mom up, she just told me to throw it in the garbage and then she went back to sleep. I don’t know what to do now, I can’t sleep and I’m still shaking.

  4. Listen to your mum, just throw it in the garbage. Who knows what it is. The police won’t do much if you were to report it.

  6. If you are worried you can call the non emergency police line: 0900-8844. They can instruct you what Is best to do. I would not simply throw it away if you are worried about what is inside.

    U recognize it because of the flakey crumble texture.

  18. It’s packaged like drugs. The pony pack design is also recognisable. This doesn’t mean the contents are drugs, even if they look or even smell like them.

    If you are inclined, get a tester from a smart shop before attempting to try it. Otherwise you may prefer to call the police.

  19. All this drama about calling the police 😂 Come on people. It’s just the drug dealer making a wrong delivery. Stupid of him he doesn’t ring the bell but maybe this is how it works with them. Anyway: either get it tested to see what it is. Or throw it away. I can’t tell from this picture but it looks like one of the new designer drugs to me. Not coke or speed for sure. Also doesn’t look like mdma.

    And don’t sweat it, probably the dealer put it in the wrong mailbox. Likely he’s salty about it, but it’s not much so he just lost a few euro. Maybe a few tientjes if it’s coke, but it doesn’t look like it.

    He won’t come back to collect.

  31. Not sure of course, and it looks a bit light, but it looks like it could be MDMA (should smell a bit like anis). Or ketamine? Or research chems. Maybe the guy delivered it to the wrong house, or the guy picking it up gave your address.

  32. I had this too sometime. Although I was on holiday at the time so it took a few days for me to find out. There was also a note from the person saying they are the mailman and acidentally dropped something of theirs in my mailbox with a phonenumber to get it back.

    I contacted police but they weren’t helpful. They said I had to come down to the station and report it with all my details. I refused because I was a little scared as this person onviously knew my name and adress and would maybe come after me. They said it was the only way or I could just get it back to the person if I was scared. So I just did that. Luckily never saw or heared from them.

  34. In all likely hood a street dealer was using your letterbox as a stash spot and fucked it up. I’ve found packs stashed above my door frame in the shared alcove before.

    It’s most commonly used to hold cocaine, but can contain pretty much any drugs that is a crystal. Speed (dried), DMT, MDMA, you name it.

    Not sure why you are shaking? Someone put something in your mailbox. Who cares? Either throw it away or snort it. Whatever floats your boat.

  39. Unfortunately it’s pretty common for dealers to (at least in Rotterdam) put this in the mailbox of people whom they know are addicted. Could be a dealer who mixed up houses. Like everyone here recommends: just call the police. They normally have a pretty good overview of known dealers in and around certain areas.

  45. You can get it tested for €2 at the GGD or Jellinek and find out exactly what’s in it.
