GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) – One South Mississippi business helps people ride in style.
Gulf Coast Exotic Auto is a car dealership that has luxury vehicles from Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini.

“You just have three or four brands that are huge, and those are typically an exotic car,” Chris Gipson, Gulf Coast Exotic Auto Managing Partner.
“Kids that are playing video games see the Lamborghinis, Ferraris, the Porsche 911. They can spot an exotic car right away.”
One Lamborghini at Gulf Coast Exotic Auto even belonged to John Cena.

“This car only has 43 miles on it,” said Gipson. I’ve probably been in it more than he has.”
Gipson has been the managing partner since owner Ivan Spinner opened up Gulf Coast Exotic Auto in 2014.
“When it started, we had about six cars, then within a couple of months, I had to quit my other job because it grew pretty quickly.”
Gipson said it all started as a hobby but quickly spiraled into a business, and both Gipson and Spinner had to educate themselves on how the exotic car industry worked.
“It was a nightmare at first because neither one of us had ever been in the car business. There’s a lot you have to learn real quick,” said Gipson.
“I had to call a lot of friends, people who were already in the business, and learn real fast about titles and the correct way to buy a car; we even got scammed one time.”
Some of the vehicles at Gulf Coast Exotic Auto are also custom-built.
Gulf Coast Exotic Auto is located at 2137 East Pass Road in Gulfport.
