  5. Why? Why on earth do they think that’s a good Idea?

    I’m generally more pro Israeli (please don’t start a war in the replies) but the way they’ve been handling the new syrian government is just stupid honestly. The Syrians have actually shown a suprising amount of willingness to live in peace with Israel. Apparently they even wanted to officially end the decades long war. Which is even more suprising considering the past of the new syrian leader.

    The Israelis really do not need more enemies so any act of kindness should be welcomed with open arms.

    But that’s all just my opinion so don’t send me to hell for it.

    There are the vids but they seem to have been taken down as of now. Some of the people in these vids are not even government aligned fighters but Bedouins instead.

    Again I reiterate. It’s not good that security forces are doing this, but it’s not like their actions are unprovoked. When Druze militias release vids of them beating POWs and making them bark like dogs then this would be the expected response from a poorly trained and underfunded fledgling security force of a nation just coming out of a 14 yr long civil war.

  14. This is in support of the Druze who have been supportive of Israel. Israel launched strikes in Syria earlier this year in their defense when the new Syrian government drove towards the border

  17. The Druze are asking for help. There is no PM left, right or center that could turn their back. They gave the Syrian government a warning yesterday but to send tanks into Druze towns.

    Politically Jews in Israel will not turn their backs on the Druze, as silly as a “blood pact” may sound it’s still something Jews and Druze take seriously
