Maccabi Tel Aviv made a statement signing by bringing in 2024 NBA champion Oshae Brissett, and according to Moshe Barda, the Israeli powerhouse is reportedly in talks with two more players with extensive NBA backgrounds.
Maccabi is said to be negotiating with Devonte’ Graham and two-time NBA champion Damian Jones.
Graham, 30, was selected 34th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, but was immediately traded to the Charlotte Hornets, where he began his NBA career and spent his first three seasons.
He later played for the New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs, before appearing in the G League with the South Bay Lakers during the 2024/25 season.
A former Kansas Jayhawk, Graham has played in 336 regular-season NBA games, averaging 11.1 points and 4.3 assists per game.
As for Damian Jones, also 30, the big man won NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018, and later played for various teams across the NBA, including two stints with the Los Angeles Lakers.
In 2024, he moved to China, where he played for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls.
Jones has logged 279 regular-season NBA appearances, averaging 4.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
