Last year, Developer MAGES. announced that they’re bringing their detective adventure game “Mystereet: Yasogami Kaoru no Chousen!” to the Switch in Japan. This is a port of the Mystereet title that originally launched for the PC backn in 2004. Now we know that the official release date for the game is July 31st, 2025. There’s no word on localization for this title right now. You can watch the game’s opening movie above.
The original plan was to release a collection called Mystereet F: The Detectives’ Curtain Call that included both Mystereet: Yasogami Kaoru no Chousen! and the sequel Mystereet 2: Farewell Encounter, but Mages. decided to go with a standalone release of the first title instead. Apparently there is still hope for the sequel to release, but details on that will come at a later date.
