That these countries have taken it upon themselves to do this should have the EU deeply ashamed for refusing to sanction Israel. I won’t even bother with the US, they’ve never made it a secret they’re bloodthirsty warmongers. But the EU at least tries to push the image of being for peace and justice. Embarrassing.
So in summary it was a letdown, from the 30 countries expected less than half plan to do anything, and from those 12 countries, only 3 have open diplomatic channels: South Africa, Namibia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the others like Colombia, Nicaragua and Bolivia broke diplomatic channels already a year ago, Cuba hasn’t had diplomatic ties with them since decades, and the rest don’t even recognize Israel as a state.
I guess they do have time for the others to join, we’ll see, since some important ones like Spain have already said that while they agree there aren’t plans to officially join in.
