Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church will celebrate his birthday on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
On this occasion, a thanksgiving prayer will be offered to God during the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest. After the Divine Liturgy, at 11:00 AM, a Te Deum service will be officiated, as an expression of gratitude to God for the blessings bestowed upon the Romanian Orthodox Church and Patriarch Daniel.
Clergy, lay believers, and official guests are welcome to attend.
At noon, a short formal gathering will be held at the Patriarchal Palace for official guests, featuring the reading of congratulatory messages sent by national and local government authorities, as well as other public institutions.
It is noted that the primary celebration for Patriarch Daniel is observed annually on September 30, marking his enthronement as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church in 2007.
