  2. I’m entering my second day of no sleep due to the heat and my brain just refusing to shut down, so I’m gonna spend the day feeling like a zombie hoping I won’t just flop over into a slumber while doing things :/

    Thank goodness for the rain though, I hope it means the weather will finally start cooling down again.

  4. It’s hair dye day, so I’ll be in the hairdresser all morning. Then home for a lazy one. I’ve got new DLC for a game I want to play and a new book from the library. Going to grab snacks on my way back from the hairdresser and then hide away for the day.

  5. My mum is coming to visit (we’re having a spa day!) so I’m in TIDYING PANIC STATIONS.

    I’ve got until midday, I’ve done the kitchen and now onto the lounge and bathroom. Trying to resist the urge to put everything into an IKEA bag and shove it in the cupboard under the stairs…

  6. Woke up about an hour ago – dog has been a walk, and is now curled up in bed with us.

    The haar has blown in, so hopefully it’ll burn off so that I can get the grass cut later, clean out the chooks, and go to the gym. Then watch France vs Germany tonight while I eat pizza.

  7. It’s muggy as hell, sleep was had but broken. Fan just pushing hot air into face. Eyes feel full of sand.

  8. Photographing a wedding down in the midlands. Hopefully the rain will have come and gone by the time we get to the reception venue. One of my favourite bands for the party tonight, which I’m really looking forward to.

  10. My Saturdays are usually for chores (cleaning, shop…) and life admin, so I welcome this rain. Gotta plan my time, take care of emails, sort out some documents, all while drinking tea from me huge teapot and trying out the new Tibetan incense I got as a gift. After everything is done, I will either write, read or practice my pencil drawing. I’m also, finally, gonna finish watching Metropolis later on today lol

  11. Lazy daytime, dinner and escape room with friends this evening.

  12. Going to the butchers to pick up ribs and steak then of to the brother in laws to drink beer and BBQ ready for a birthday party later this afternoon.

  13. Sons football tournament today. So up early sitting in a field with an umbrella and camping chair. No where else id like to be right now. After working from home all week gonna try and enjoy the cool air

  15. Weather looks ok in Bristol today. Usual dog walk at 11, and then this afternoon, we’re having a BBQ for some of my husband’s family

  16. Played some bloodbowl 7s last night. Fucking great fun. Rainy day today so dossing. Until the boss says we’re going shopping. Then we’re going shopping.

  19. Got all the family for BBQ today, not sure the weather is gonna be any good but still well be a good time even if all indoors!

My dog had some teeth out yesterday so was up and down all night because he wanted to go in the garden.Hes polished off a can of dog food already been for a trundle and now snuggled up in bed with my husband.Going to chill out with him today and might sneak in a nap later.Im glad it’s cooler today spent yesterday having one hot flush after another.Im making homemade spaghetti carbonara later for dinner as well.

  21. Rain all day, so not much, but by all the fae, it was humid as all hell last night.

    Also, in case anyone missed it, the estimated finally total donated by you lot in memory of Beelinda (estimated as not everyone added a note to say it was for Beelinda) was between £6,108.66 – £6,420.64. **Thank you all**.

  22. After a dreadful scare with my cat on Tuesday, she was diagnosed with diabetes. She’s on insulin now which we are hoping will keep her well a while longer. I really thought we were going to say goodbye to her on Tuesday so the relief that shes treatable has been immense. Me and my husband are both nurses so drawing up and administering hasn’t been a problem, but it’s been so strange giving poor cat injections.

    The Vets were wonderfully kind and did so much to help her. I’m grateful now for every day we get to keep her with us.

  23. Also eagerly awaiting my promised downpour. Imagine if you tickled the tiny, twitchy nose of a sickly and premature Pomeranian puppy and it sneezed in the general direction of your entire county, and that about describes the pathetic sprinkling of raindrops we’ve had so far.

  25. Back to the hospital today, our newborn has slight jaundice so shes being monitored. My poor partner has to stay to feed her so they’ve both been stuck there for 3 days. Hopefully we can go home today. At least it’s raining today, much needed.

    Just stumbled upon on a bully on tiktok who used to bully me for my weight and who I was. Posting about mental health and he put me through shite in high school. Everyone on the TikTok is praising him but they don’t know what he’s actually like.

  28. Kids let us sleep in until 9am!!! Good start to the summer holidays although I do hope it stops raining at some point over the week.

  29. Off to the cricket. It is of course absolutely bucketing it down.
    Also trying to deal with teenage angst. Not sure if it is dRaMA or real. Tweens are taking years of my life!

  30. Wake up to rain. Do I go out for lottery tickets as normal, or leave it until Monday? Ahh it’s not that bad…

    Oh well. Got my tickets. Grabbed breakfast. Fed swans. Time to find something fun on YouTube. Good morning, even if I did have to get changed once I was back home. Wet clothes… Yuck. 😭

    My legs still hurt from last night, Judge Jules did a decent set and I somehow clocked up 12 miles and 28k steps dancing.

  35. In hospital for the second time in one month, they highly suspected Sepsis but thankfully it’s not that.

  36. Could be doing with this rain everyone else has, lol. Seems to be skipping where I am.

  37. I was promised thunderstorms. What I have is 24° with 66% humidity and grey.

    I am referring to the weather rather than my life, but it works either way.
