Poundland evicted from Cornwall shop after ‘not paying rent for months’

1. Getting kicked out for not paying rent is reasonable. But the wider issue is that we’re being lied to by the powers that be that online spending and change in consumer habits is hollowing out the high street- when really it’s people who own property there charging extortionate rates. They’d rather our city centres stay empty and desolate than compromise even a penny of money. They are the worst of our soviet and should be social pariahs.
