After three seasons with Valencia Basket, Chris Jones and the Spanish team have parted ways, with the 32-year-old guard officially moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv, staying in the EuroLeague.

The American point guard with an Armenian passport put up 10.6 points and 4.5 assists per game with Valencia in the 2024-25 EuroCup, losing to the team he’s joining in the Semi-Finals.

Against Hapoel Tel Aviv, he averaged 10.5 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds over the first two clashes of the three-game Semi-Final series, missing Game 3.

His latest EuroLeague campaign, in 2023-24, finished with Chris Jones averaging 12.7 points and 4.2 assists per game. He also represented ASVEL and Maccabi Tel Aviv in the competition.

Both Valencia and Hapoel Tel Aviv are the newcomers, alongside BC Dubai, of the 2025-26 EuroLeague season, with the expansion to 20 participating teams in the competition.
