Hey everyone,

I’ve created a custom Google Map that highlights regions in Switzerland where wildlife can be observed and photographed, it’s meant as a resource for fellow wildlife photographers and nature lovers.

The map is based on my own research, online sources, and personal observations, but I’m not sure if everything is completely accurate.

I’d really appreciate any feedback or corrections, for example:

  • Are some locations wrong or misleading?
  • Are there important regions I’ve missed?

Thanks a lot in advance! I'd love to improve it with help from the community. 🙏

  1. I would like more information, specifically about the types of wildlife that can be seen. For example, on the mont Tendre, you can observe marmots.

  2. [Edit]
The updated map can also be found at r/WildlifePhotographyCH
Everyone is invited to join the community, learn new things from each other and perhaps even plan social gathering to do some Wildlifephotography!

  3. In Ticino, apart from wolves, which are not so easy to encounter… you can more easily observe deer, roe deer, ibex, marmots, foxes, badgers, birds of prey, various migratory birds and many, many other wild animals.

  4. Would be nice to include the data on Swiss topo
