ZAGREB, 21 July 2025 – The Croatian capital will mark the 30th anniversary of the military and police operation “Storm” with a grand military parade on Thursday 31 July 2025.
The event will also commemorate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Veterans Day.
The parade will take place along Ulica grada Vukovara, from Avenija Marina Držića to Savska ulica, starting at 5pm.
It will be a moment of national pride, unity and reflection, as citizens honour the service and sacrifice of the Croatian Armed Forces and veterans.
More than 3,400 participants will take part, including members of the Croatian Armed Forces, Ministry of the Interior, Civil Protection Directorate, Mountain Rescue Service, Judicial Police, Croatian Firefighting Association, veterans, historical units and troops from allied nations.
The parade will include infantry, motorised and mechanised units, showcasing over 500 military and support vehicles.
A special highlight will be the aerial display, featuring over 40 aircraft from the Croatian Air Force and Ministry of the Interior, including helicopters, planes and the latest Rafale multirole fighter jets.
Spectators will also be able to follow a naval parade from the Croatian Navy via large video screens.
This segment will highlight the capabilities of Croatia’s maritime defence with various vessels and equipment on show.
Among the key features of the event will be displays of Croatia’s most modern military technology.
These include the Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicle, the Leopard tank and small combat drones, reflecting the continued advancement of Croatia’s defence forces.
The day will also include a cultural and artistic programme, adding to the atmosphere and significance of the occasion.
Citizens are warmly invited to attend and support the Croatian Armed Forces by taking part in this unique celebration.
The parade is set to be one of the largest of its kind in recent years.
