  1. Were you expecting herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain?

  2. You do know that when you stay at a hotel you are allowed off site?

  3. The bit next to St Bartholemew’s with the path along the River Mole is probably the nicest bit of Horley (although there’s not a lot of competition) – did you pop into Ye Olde Six Bells while you were there?

Riverside Garden Park on the opposite side of the road from the Travelodge is nice, too.

  4. Ye Olde Six Bells is a great pub which server lovely grub. There are small Pike, Carp & Rudd in that little river (River Mole). If you follow it along the other side of the main road there are some lakes less than half a mile.

  5. Are you Karl Pilkington? Susan deserves a treat, take her for a walk round the graveyard

  6. Please sir, can we have some more context? just a single crumb, i promise we’ll be ever so good!

  7. I’ve been for runs around there while on work overnights- surprisingly nice, although you do feel like someone is going to run you over

  8. That’s a good 8/10 walk, can’t lie. The dead don’t make for obnoxious company.

I sometimes like picking a random name off a stone and saying hello to that person. Feels polite.

  9. Taking nothing beats a Jet2 holiday to a deathly extreme…

  10. Apologies for the lack of context. Been a bit busy. I asked the reception if there was anything like a nice walk to go on to stretch my legs before my flight, and the post title was my answer. And being a stubborn bastard I winged it and happened to catch a nice lady coming off a little hidden side path. And that’s it lol
