Prince Harry’s heartbreaking 5-word plea to Princess Eugenie has been decoded by a lip-reading expert. The Duke, who relocated to America with his wife and children in 2020, appeared isolated as he made the solo journey back to Britain for King Charles’s coronation ceremony in London during May 2023.
Throughout his stay, Harry seemed to gravitate toward his cousin Eugenie and her spouse Jack Brooksbank, with whom he’s reportedly maintained a strong bond despite the ongoing Royal rift.
As the family assembled outside Westminster Abbey, a lip-reading specialist examined footage of Harry’s conversation with his cousin, revealing a devastating inquiry about his relatives.
In the fresh Channel 5 program, Lip-Reading The Royals: The Secret Conversations, the expert alleged that Harry told Eugenie, “I’ve spent five hours with my dad in his office and not a friendly text from either.”

While it remains uncertain whether he referenced King Charles and Queen Camilla or the Prince and Princess of Wales, Harry then reportedly continued by questioning her: “Why hasn’t anybody contacted me?”.
Eugenie, who was expecting her second baby at the time, responded with a compassionate yet careful smile, reports the Express.
In a BBC interview from May, conducted as the Duke lost his legal battle to restore his UK security protection, Harry disclosed that his father had ceased all communication with him. Discussing the ongoing rift with his family, Harry remarked: “There is no point in continuing to fight anymore; life is precious.”
In a turn of events that probably took the Palace by surprise, Harry seemed to allude to the King’s health issues, stating: “I don’t know how much longer my father has”.
Harry and Meghan chose to step back from Royal responsibilities in January 2020 and moved to the US shortly thereafter with their son Archie.
They’ve since expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter Lilibet in June 2021 and have made a home for themselves in Montecito.
