It’s a BRM-1K not a BMP-1 (basically a recon version of the BMP-1), you can recognize it by the periscope layout for on the turret and the larger turret.
But I remember this footage very well !
Iirc they take on a T-72 from the side at some point and aim for the carousel autoloader and destroy it.
Still one of the best clips.
Rip to those squad’s legs tho i think they might need some tampons.

When I see this video from time to time, I always wondering what happened with the crew after all these years.
Make sure you don’t miss it at 25 seconds, it feels like he is laying into that z but doings poor job and aiming too low. Its not bad aim, if you look closely you can see feet behind the enemy vehicle. I’m pretty sure he is trying to skip shot along the ground to hit them.
I remember there was a similar video to this but you could see shit loads of Ukrainian soldiers taking cover in frame with rounds passing right by them

Good footage but why does the screen say commander if its the gunners seat?
Sad that there’s a strong possibility the cameraman is dead unless he got prisoner swapped at some point.

What was that same type of video, where they stumble on some enemies and the gunner goes “ours? Nah, no fuck em’ up!”
