Hey,
I am a FOREIGN student at a university in France and will be coming to Alesund in a few days. I was unable to reach the company FRAM during their calling hours (10-11am weekdays) and their terms don't seem fully clear for me.

Can I, as a student at a foreign university, (not doing an exchange or coming to study / work in norway) with a valid foreign university student ID, get the FRAM Student for 712 kroner (cf picture) or not ?

My plan was to stay for 1.5 weeks. And i would also like to take both buses and any kind of boats (ferries/speedboats). But i am not sure i can get that discount/offer. But on the other hand, weekly/monthly passes to these are just too expensive without that student offer.

I have read through similar posts but they were either in a different bus/transport region or not with FRAM. But since both :
-my ticket left via their website,
– and the few calls i made (for about 30 minutes sometimes… Remmember they take calls only for an hour / day)

Were left with no reply, this is one of the final places i am hoping to get help from. English not being my main language and google translate being bad doesn't help either ofc.

Thanks in advance for reading ,
Cheers !

Student rebate is valid when “Er du elev/student på heiltid ved ein norsk vidaregåande skole, høgskole, universitet og andre godkjende undervisningsinstitusjonar kan du få studentrabatt.”

You are a full time student at a Norwegian University, University college and other approved institutions.

“Studentrabatt gjeld i tillegg for deg som er ein utanlandsk statsborgar som studerer i Noreg og som har gyldig legitimasjon, studentbevis og kvittering på betalt semesteravgift.”

It also is valid for foreign students that is studying in Norway as long as you carry a valid ID, student ID, and receipt of paid student fee.

So I am thinking no, you don’t qualify.
