So, they made a change, saw nobody liked it, and will fix it accordingly. good.
Good… thank god. The last thing Ukraine needs is fighting amongst itself.
Brilliant. Let the state destroy all relevant current cases, then hand the keys back when youre done so you’re in compliance with EU regulations
This feels super sensationalized. I keep hearing that it was a known problem in communities that some things would get neglected due to corruption, that being said, wouldn’t that signal a drastic change relative to what has been precedent would be needed? Especially given the concerns of Ruzzian interference within.
Also, do we really think Ukraine would do something as sloppy as dismantling their entire corruption department in the middle of a war largely dependent on foreign support without some kind of backup plan or private talks with other nations? They have moved almost perfectly diplomatically to secure this support and it does not seem likely this would be done with the intent of covering up some grand corruption scheme, besides the reasons I already gave, it would just be too in the face.
Not many men left in the cities to attend these protests
