US utilities injected 23 billion cubic feet of natural gas into storage on the week ending July 18th, 2025, bringing total inventories to 3.075 trillion cubic feet.
The result was slightly below expectations of a 28 bcf build, but remained in line with seasonal developments halfway through the North American summer.
Current storage levels were around 4.7% lower than those one year ago, but remained 5.9% above the current five/year average.
