CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Power has been restored for almost all Dominion Energy customers in West Ashley after a power outage on Thursday night.
Dominion Energy crews responded at approximately 8 p.m. to Ashley River Road and Tobias Gadson Boulevard for a tree that made contact with one of the overhead power lines, spokesman Paul Fischer says.
The Dominion Energy outage map shows 38 customers without power as of 10:05 p.m.
The outage has caused the traffic lights to be out at the intersections of Ashley River Road and Tobias Gadson Boulevard and Paul Cantrell Boulevard and Tobias Gadson Boulevard.
The Charleston Police Department and Charleston Fire Department assisted Dominion Energy crews on site.
