The dual opponents for Year 2 of the David Taylor Era are official; now we’re just awaiting the dates.
Oklahoma State on Thursday released its 13 dual opponents for the 2025-26 season. Here they are in alphabetical order with OSU’s records against each program alongside (dates and other info will be announced at a later date):
Air Force — 6-0
Arizona State — 41-4
Iowa — 29-27-2
Iowa State — 64-22-3
Little Rock — 4-0
Missouri — 47-8-1
Nebraska — 51-4-1
Northern Iowa — 30-4
Oklahoma — 152-27-10
Stanford — 3-0
Utah Valley — 2-0
Virginia Tech — 1-1
West Virginia — 18-0
In total, the Cowboys are 448-97-17 against their upcoming schedule.
Also on the schedule is the National Duals Invitational, where the Pokes could pick up duals against some of the other top programs in the country or even double up on some already-scheduled duals. That’s set to happen Nov. 15 and 16.
MatScouts’ Willie Saylor reported in May that the Cowboys’ dual against Nebraska would be on Dec. 21 in Lincoln. The Cowboys and Cornhuskers have wrestled 56 times but haven’t met in a dual since 2011. OSU won that 2011 dual 22-10 with Jamal Parks, Neil Erisman, Mike Benefiel, Chris Perry, Clayton Foster, Jon Morrison and Jordan Oliver all picking up OSU wins.
OSU’s other nonconference duals come against Iowa, Virginia Tech and Little Rock, while the rest of those duals are considered Big 12 contests.
Plott, Hamiti Headed to Poland
The Cowboy RTC has been active this summer, and that’ll continue with a pair of recently graduated Pokes set to compete overseas.
Dustin Plott and Dean Hamiti Jr. will wrestle in the 34th Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial in Poland from July 30 to Aug. 3. The two will also be joined by Cowboy RTC coach and executive director Lee Roper, according to USA Wrestling’s release.
Hamiti is set to compete at 79 kg, the same weight he wrestled at earlier this week in a USA-Russia dual. In that dual, Hamiti pinned Mokhamed Nasirkhaev, who was ranked fifth in the world at 79 kg entering the event, according to Flo.

Hamiti narrowly missed out at a Final X berth on two occasions this summer, coming second in the U.S. Open to Evan Wick before coming second at the Senior World Team Trials to Levi Haines. But, it appears he is right there among the best in the country, if not the world, at the weight.
Plott will wrestle at 92 kg. He wrestled to a fifth-place finish at the U.S. Open in April and finished fourth at the Senior World Team Trials.
