  1. Holy fucking shit. Why is this even stored?! People might be killed because of this leak. WTF. Apps like this should encrypt any identifying information they need to keep and delete EVERYTHING else.

  2. What a great example of why you shouldn’t give your ID to any site or app.

    I wonder how long it’ll take before we see something similar with the UK ID provider for pornhub.

  3. Gossip about men is underselling it. It essentially lets you create a public profile for a man, and then for anyone to post information about them on that profile, whether truthful or not, without the target being aware of this.

    I don’t see how this passed a lawyers liability review. I’m pretty sure there was a pretty public case of some college or highschooler guys doing effectively the same in a private group chat and them getting suspended for it
