Donald Trump had a lot on his mind after landing in Scotland on Friday for a four-day visit, telling Europe it needed to get its “act together.”
The statement came when reporters asked the president about illegal immigration in Britain, which Trump said, “On immigration, you better get your act together or you’re not going to have Europe anymore.”
He continued: “You’ve got to stop this horrible invasion that is happening to Europe, many countries in Europe.”
The president then claimed that the US had “nobody entering our country” last month and that “a lot of bad people” were taken out.

He blamed former President Joe Biden for being a “total stiff” on immigration, allowing people to enter the country, adding that Europe is “allowing it to happen” as well.
“You gotta stop this horrible invasion that’s happening to Europe,” he said.
“Some leaders have not let it happen, and they’re not getting the proper credit… I could name them to you right now, but I’m not going to embarrass the other ones. But stop, this immigration is killing Europe.”
Wound Up
During his meeting with the press, Trump also pivoted to complain about “windmills” throughout the continent — possibly referring to the use of wind turbines.
Europe is a leading region in wind energy, with the continent seeing substantial growth in wind energy in recent years.
“Stop the windmills. You’re ruining your countries,” said Trump. “I really mean it. So sad. You fly over and you see these windmills all over the place. Ruining your beautiful fields and valleys and killing your birds, and if they’re stuck in the ocean, ruining your oceans.”

Trump’s “beef” with wind turbines isn’t new. In 2011, the then-reality TV star slammed the “ugly” turbines seen from the Menie golf course in Aberdeen, Scotland, calling them “monstrosities” that would destroy the country’s tourism industry.
As president, Trump shot down several wind and solar power initiatives in the US, barring their use on federal lands.
“I don’t want windmills destroying our place,” the president said before signing the “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
“I don’t want these solar things where they go for miles and they cover up half a mountain and they’re ugly as h—.”
Before his recent visit to Scotland, Trump called for the United Kingdom to ramp up on oil and ditch wind energy.
“They should get rid of the windmills and bring back the oil,” he said. “The windmills are really detrimental to the beauty of Scotland and every other place they go up.”
