  1. I know this is not the main takeaway from this but the mindset to record crimes like this just astounds me.

  2. Those pleas of mitigation are going to be hard to swallow.

  3. Absolutely horrible. that poor woman.

I think we all know they will get off relatively lightly though.

    * I enrolled in an aprenticeship judge
    * my partner is pregnant judge
    * I have a character witness statement from a priest judge
    * it wasn’t me it was the drink/drugs what done it

etc. all the usual shite scumbags use to get off lightly.

  4. Legalize drugs. Sells them in pharmacies.
Take the power away from scum.

  5. To hell with mitigating factors – lock them all up, including the guy who replied “quality” to the text saying they had a hostage.

  6. 5 of them in Court were on bail, 237 previous convictions between them.
A few of them were living in the flat complex where the torture took place.
All granted free legal aid, at least two of them on social welfare. I have no doubt the others are too.
That’s a lot of my taxpaying money to support criminals.

Like, what can he done with them? If we are lucky they’ll get 10 years, the youngest will get off more lightly because the Judge must take sympathy or something.

But when they are released. They just go back to living in the council flats where they tortured someone?

We need to look at much longer prison sentences, combined with a long period on supervised release – i.e. they are accommodated away from people they can abuse & breaks the cycle of falling back in associating with bad people, they must keep free from drugs & any subsequent offending sends them straight back for another couple of years inside.

At the bare minimum they should not be accommodation in the same flat complex, they should be barred from it for life.

  7. “I hope you can sleep well at night, because I can’t.”

Poor woman. These men are the scum of the earth and deserve nothing less than chemical castration and to be locked up for the remainder of their natural lives

  8. It’s hard to imagine being tortured and interrogated about a load of drugs that you genuinely have no idea about. Hope these fuckers get the maximum sentence possible.

  9. They should get life. Including the “quality” scumbag

  10. Will this stop people buying cocaine knowing that these are the calibre of people peddling it.

    No? Oh well… carry on.

  11. Where are the riots?? Where are all the men that want to protect the women of Ireland?

  12. This is the most fucked up thing I’ve read in a long time. Our justice system isn’t fit for purpose.

  13. These people should never see the light of day again.

And to think she was only found by chance, can’t even think about how much worse it could’ve been. Just grim.

  14. Evil fuckers the lot of them. Unrepentant scumbags who should never see the light of day again

  15. Any kind of torture should be some automatic serious sentencing, regardless if juvenile or not.

  16. Crack cocaine. And the problem is just getting bigger

  17. Imagine if they were immigrants. The streets would be burning. But they were irish so les grand

  18. I’d be in favour of adding “imprisonment until natural death” as an option for judges in cases like this.

  19. Where are these so called “Irish Patriots” protesting about this??? Aren’t they the ones concerned about women and children???

  20. Bunch of degenerate fucks who have conviction after conviction and yet have never served serious time. The oldest one was only caught a few years ago with a load of coke & got 2 years. That 16 year old should be named, big enough to act like a little scumbag.

  21. Lock em up throw away the key. Life isn’t enough for people like this.

  22. Whenever I hear people shyting on about the great community in de flats this case comes to mind. I community of these lads I could do without.

    > Braxton Rice

    Poor start in life

  23. The people who think that their own cocaine consumption is harmless should be made to read this and understand that this is what they’re financially supporting.

  24. Eh where’s the protests? It’s about the ‘wimmin and da childer’ isn’t it????

  25. I look forward to those “patriot” protesters who claim they are “protectin’ Irish women” to go to the houses of these scumbags and protest against the families?

  26. 1) if you buy coke you’re funding this industry
    2) no riot, so it was never about protecting women
