We didn’t get much of a Snow White press tour from Gal Gadot—blink and you’d have missed it—but she made a welcome return to the red carpet this week at the Jerusalem Film Festival, and it came with some welcome changes.

Gal Gadot Wore Gucci To The Jerusalem Film Festival

New stylist, new energy, and honestly, a much-needed reset after those back-to-back red Prada gowns on Oscar night. Let’s be honest, it was a toss-up between which one was more disappointing.

Wearing a burgundy Gucci dress draped off a golden ring neckline with a sultry open back, Gal served up a look that felt confident, considered, and most importantly—like her. This is the kind of grown-up glamour I’ve been craving from her, and it was refreshing to see her in something that wasn’t black or overly severe.

The look was rounded out with matching Gucci Selene mules featuring that signature gold horsebit detail, while Tiffany & Co. jewels and a sleek low bun kept things clean and unfussy.

I’ve never truly connected with Karla Welch’s styling for Gal — the colour and flair always felt lacking compared to her time with Elizabeth Stewart. But this? This feels like a turning point. Is Gal back to her best? If this is the direction she’s heading, I’m fully on board.

You may remember that this dress was first worn by Gucci’s favourite Brit, Daisy Edgar-Jones.

Stylist: Shiran Mania.
