South Korea won the bronze medal and finished the Asian Women’s Youth Handball Championship.

South Korea defeated Kazakhstan 30-21 in the third and fourth place match of the 11th Asian Women’s Youth Handball Championship (U17) held in Jinggangshan, Jiangxi Province, China on the 24th.

South Korea finished the first half with a 16-11 lead, and continued its lead 14-10 in the second half, giving Kazakhstan an edge all the time. It was a complete victory for South Korea with a final score of 30-21.

South Korea showed a strong attack from the beginning of the game. He gave up his first goal, but quickly accumulated the score by turning it around 3-1 with consecutive goals from Lee Soo-ah (Incheon Business High School), Cho Eun-yul (Jungshin Girls’ High School), and Lee Ju-eun (Incheon Business High School).

Since then, Kim Eun-yul (Jungshin Girls’ High School), Cho Min-jin (Incheon Business High School), Lee Soo-ah and Cho Eun-yul have scored consecutive goals, widening the gap to 8-3. Kazakhstan chased after ORLOVSKAYA, but was unable to close the gap due to South Korea’s organized defense and good defense by goalkeeper Shin Da-bin (Cheonan Technical High School). In the end, he led the first half 16-11, finishing the first half.

South Korea’s momentum continued in the second half. The second half was unexpectedly a tight trend, continuing the battle of giving and receiving goals.

South Korea leads the game by five or six goals Shin Ye-won (Incheon Business High School) and Jang Ji-won (Daegu Che High School) scored three goals in a row to run 28-19 to win the game, eventually finishing 30-21.

South Korea led the attack with Lee Soo-ah scoring five goals and Lee Ju-eun and Kim Eun-yul scoring four goals each, while goalkeeper Shin Da-bin (Cheonan Technical High School) scored 13 saves to lead the team to victory.

Kazakhstan led the attack with six goals each by Orlovskaya and KELIMBERDI, and goalkeeper GALYM responded with 15 saves, but failed to break South Korea’s offensive.
