  1. At least this time they lack any intelligence to share

  2. That’s the most redditor shit I’ve read in a while

  3. Imagine not understanding how Ireland could never do anything that would put them on the wrong side of history. The wrong side of history being the one that Britain is on of course.

  4. I‘m on vacation in Ireland right now and there are a lot of Palestinian flags on houses and free Palestine stickers here, even outside of the big cities

Not sure if that is normal for other countries, but I‘m not used to it being from Germany myself.

  5. Our cousins over the sea paint over their sketchy past almost as well as ourselves.

  6. Am I wrong to be mad that there’s a statue of Sean Russel?

  7. It’s always those weirdos with fucking anime pics who fall victim to the dunning-kruger-effect when it comes to history and politics

  8. Ireland (especially the IRA) helped ~~equip~~ the Nazis in some cases, so it was very much the opposite to what this idiot is suggesting

Edit: the Irish prime minister offered condolences to hitler’s death, the IRA launched a sabotage plan to destabilise British infrastructure just as WW2 began. Critically though, Ireland refused to try to stop the nazis, and just like Switzerland bares some of the blame of WW2 as with their help the war would’ve been over quicker

Edit 2: Ireland did also give food and 60k soldiers to the uk, as well as downed pilots and weather reports. It seems it was primarily the ira that is guilty in this rather than Ireland as a whole

  9. I’m starting to think Barry has a point about Irish “intelligence”

  10. The guy with the abime pfp is a full on sicko

That’s the guy that posted racist shit here to try to get the sub banned

Also a terrorist apologist and an antisemite

  11. At least Indian/Isreali OP agreed that they are behaving like Nazis , that’s a good beginning

  12. Then Taoiseach of Ireland de Valera sent his condolences and visited Germany when Hitler killed himself, BTW.

Can’t respond to you since the user of that comment blocked me

So here’s my reply to that Polish Jews posts.

    > He’s not providing any context, it’s not about Jews, it’s about former IDF veterans.

    > The post was about Polish Jews who left Poland to serve in the IDF in Israel and then returning to Poland after the war, so of course, many Poles didn’t want IDF war criminals in their country, rightfully so.
