Were they selling overpriced, warm ham and cheese sandwiches, expensive water with a free copy of The Times thrown in?
All these poor people are melting 🙁
You don’t have to do that. They’re in the uk still.
You could have just gone to your nearest motorway services or big train station.
That is a choice as far as carpet designs go …
They should have just kept the name
Can someone explain the joke?
Medowhall in Sheffield has a WHSmith, popped in to see about stationary for the kids new school year. Soon walked out with nothing as it’s all well over priced. I remember WHSmith being the place I used to get a lot of my school stationary from, that feels like a distant memory now
we still got some in Surrey, might have been quicker
Are those big red patches on the carpet on purpose or just really nasty 🤢
Just been into one at Heathrow this morning and no wonder the airport and train station ones were holding the company together.
£2.29 for a pack of polos and £4.49 for 16 paracetamol. Needless to say I shall have bad breath and a headache instead.
I (Australian) grew up thinking they were an airport only thing. Was surprised to see them outside of airports over there!
Good news, you can also go to Woolies
You really didn’t.
Any John Menzies over there?
Semi-related, but I had a dream the other night I saw a new John Menzies.
WH Smiths seems to be everywhere.
A shop at the resort I’m at in Fiji also has a WH Smith’s section!
Fix of what?
Fix of what?
I walked past my first ‘TG whatever’ yesterday. I hung my head and kept walking.
