Another masterclass from Alex Dunne to take another win in the F2 in a very wet Spa Francorchamps this morning. Shame about the final safety car ending the race but he's back at the top of the podium and top of the F2 championship.

  1. Made a great move to get ahead of Goethe just after his pitstop, was crucial in getting some clear air. Perfect result for Alex, takes the win while everyone else in the title race was nowhere. Fornaroli was his closest rival in P7, but the others ahead of him in the standings finished way outside the points.

    Will likely have been a better race than the F1 later.

  4. I’m struggling to see how he doesn’t get to F1 now.
    People will say there’s no seats next year, and that’s likely true, but if he has to sit out a year or go do another series, so be it.
    I think he’s genuinely done enough now to be on several F1 teams radar.
    Winning the championship will just cement that.

    He’s got unreal talent. We should be incredibly proud of what he’s doing.

  5. Loved seeing his brother repping the Offaly jersey again as well and yeah ending under a safety car is never great but it was best case scenario for Alex today was praying it wouldn’t end. 🇮🇪🇮🇪
