  5. The article completely flew over the Gawker lawsuit implications.

    In 2012, Hulk slept with his friend, Bubba The Love Sponges’, wife with his full approval. To many that suggested it happened frequently. Hulk did not know it was being secretly filmed. Gawker got hands on a copy and published the video.

    The suit that followed ended with a $140m award to Hogan and it opened the door for weaponized lawsuits against media outlets. It also became fuel for the far right to use against the press.
