I genuinely would love to interview all of them and find out their reasoning. No doubt they’d all be stupid like “because catholics support Palestine”.

  1. Was taken on a tour in Belfast that was split into two where we went around on a bus with a Catholic guide and then a Prodestant guide in 2 respective parts of the city.
    The Catholic portion was a well prepared guide about comming together through diplomacy and not violence and how the guide is sponsored by the EU to take 2 classes of Catholic and Prodestant kids to Berlin to learn about reunification.
    The Prodestant tour guide straight up told at the start that he didn’t know the exact history of the troubles and turned sour with us after we passed an IDF mural thing where he got excited and bragged about how it was a Unionist who helped establish the IDF and we all kinda just gave him blank stares in return.

    They have to know this looks bad right?
    This surely cant be unrionic.

  8. Besieged majority. An interesting term used in politics which actually unites loyalism and zionism regardless of what themuns think.

    Both loyalists and israelis are parties who have historically been dominant forces in society and politics, yet forever claim to be victims of a minority.

    I don’t think it’s always as simple as ‘them ones support them so I support the other’, although I used to. Loyalism as an ideology is not very far from zionism. Bigotry and supremacy have always been fundamental to both ideologies. We just find it hard to see how bigots can bond over bigotry.
