I live in Denmark and I have around 1200 NOK in bank notes that suit this description: https://www.norges-bank.no/en/news-events/news/Press-releases/2020/2020-11-13-1000kr/
Series VII 50-krone note (Asbjørnsen): Exchanged free of charge through 18 October 2029
Series VII 100-krone note (Flagstad): Exchanged free of charge through 30 May 2028
Series VII 200-krone note (Birkeland): Exchanged free of charge through 30 May 2028
Series VII 500-krone note (Undset): Exchanged free of charge through 18 October 2029
Series VII 1000-krone note (Munch): Exchanged free of charge through 14 November 2030
They have these people (Asbjørnsen, Flagstad, etc) so I guess they are series VII. I took a pic: https://imgur.com/a/UCPx7yW
It seems like they can only be redeemed in Norges Bank, whose offices I assume only exist in Norway. But I would like to confirm this in case I am misunderstanding something. I thought these notes were from my last trip to Norway one year ago, but if they are expired, they must be from an older trip.
Also, if someone knows where I could exchange them in Copenhagen, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can send them by post as indicated here: https://www.norges-bank.no/en/topics/notes-and-coins/exchanging-withdrawn-banknotes-and-coins/
There is ofcourse a risk that a letter sent to the norwegian bank will be stolen, but generally for such an amount, this is the easiest way.
You need to physically exchange them in the reception of Norges Bank in Oslo (or less straightforwardly at the Norges Bank depots in other major cities).
Sounds like a return trip is in order 😃
Yes. You will have to send them in to Norges Bank to have them redeemed. Or just keep them as mementos.
