1. But surely not the last.  We can stop pumping greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere today and it’ll keep getting hotter for decades.

   Actually, we probably *should* stop pumping this stuff into the atmosphere real soon, because my grand kids are gonna celebrate when it’s less than 100F in the winter there.

6. No concept of what 100 degrees was when I saw the post, but it’s actually only 38C. Doesn’t seem too outrageous, but I don’t know the general climate there.

7. To add insult to injury, Florida is a very anti worker state which means that people who work outside will not be given the proper resources to stay safe in these conditions. Probably little access to water or extra breaks. The weather is bad enough and then you have the inhumane government putting profits over people.
