The Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Hyundai Engineering & Construction (HEC) signed a MoU on July 28 in Seoul to jointly develop peaceful nuclear energy. With a focus on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), hydrogen production, and strengthening nuclear supply chains, the partnership aims to meet growing global electricity demands driven in part by AI and data centers while advancing carbon neutrality and energy diversification.
