  1. I’m so old I remember when the excuse for not doing anything about reducing climate change harm was that countries like China would never do such things. (And this included the opinions of Chinese people who themselves thought China would never do such things.)

  3. This is an excellent example of inviting the US to the party is a problem. The US jumps to the wrong side and hampers any action.
