  1. >Four pro-Russian parties have said they will form a bloc in order to press for victory in the election and oust the government, which is committed to seeking European Union membership by 2030.
    >Ties between Russia and Moldova, which was formerly part of the Soviet Union, have deteriorated as the Moldovan government has accelerated its push to integrate with the EU.

Just like Russia enacting a trade embargo to stop Ukraine from signing an association agreement with the EU. Russia weaponizes its diaspora and meddles in foreign government and polities to exert political control over nations it feels entitled to control.

How many more examples do we need of Russias malignancy. Believe their warmongering President:

“The borders of Russia do not end” – Putin

  2. Uh oh there’s a bunch of 2 year old accounts with “North America” tags that will be very unhappy in these comments. Everyone knows that your typical red-blooded American patriot spends their life glazing Russia and the despot Vladimir Putin on Reddit

  3. Oh boi, another Russia interference and Russia rigged elections narrative. Very convenient and you also can blame your rival to be pro-russian and Putin’s puppet. This is such a stupid narrative while she herself becoming the exact same dictator that she uses to fear other people. I wonder when ppl going to realize that. No free speech, shutting down TV channel, etc. Everyone I don’t like or disagree is a russian puppet and russian propaganda. Replace “russian” with “west” and you will see 1 to 1 russian government texts. Replace “russian” with “liberals” and now you got republicans texts, lmao, diz people

    >The vote could see Sandu’s Party of Action and Solidarity lose its majority in the assembly of the ex-Soviet state, which lies between Ukraine and Romania.

Nice of them to set up an excuse ahead of time in case they lose and want to nullify the election like Romania or refuse to leave office like Salome Zourabichvili in Georgia.

Not sure why they don’t just use the *”mail-in votes from the EU”* tactic they used for past elections to ensure they win by the necessary margins. I think it was the last one they held, some sort of pro-west referendum and they were projected to lose until the influx of absentee voting saved the day.
