Yaama r/Sweden,
Yesterday I made post about my Swedish great grandfather and someone was interested in what his descendants looked like.
This is my grandfather, Colin Dahlstrom. Grandson of Ernest Viktor Dahlström.
A fun fact I think you all would enjoy; Blackfullas (this is how other Indigenous in Australia refer to each as) did not know how to pronounce Ernest’s name, so they just called him “Tommy”. decades later, I know have about six cousins all who are named Tommy, all named after their great grandfather.

Is Ernest Viktor your great grandfather or your **great** **great** grandfather?
These posts have been a real treat!
Interesting to note that he has rather dark skin and hair, but seems to have blue eyes, which is a recessive trait. I know that some Melanesians have dark skin, blond hair and blue eyes. Do you know whether blue eyes sometimes occur among aboriginals as well?
He looks exactly like a bunch of older guys I’ve seen here in Sweden!!
With that tan and those blue eyes he’d fit right in at Falsterbo.
Just give him a very expensive car.
This is so cool.
That’s super interesting! I saw in your other post that your great great grandfather died in Moree. I’ve actually been there myself when I toured around Australia in a 4wd. That trip was one of the best things I’ve ever done and you’ve got a beautiful country!
Looks like a very typical a-lagare.
