  1. American rapper Azealia Banks mocked the weight of Ukrainian soldier Oleksandr Kiriienko. Kiriienko returned from Russian captivity 40 kilograms thinner. He was captured in Mariupol in 2022 and not released until February 5, 2025.

    Kiriienko recorded a video message for Banks, recalling what he went through. The torture, trauma, and abuse that Ukrainians endure in Russian captivity are hard to comprehend.
