Germany is fulfilling its recent commitment to Ukraine and delivering two more Patriot air defence systems to Kyiv. According to the German government, the delivery can now begin. The prerequisite was that the US manufacturer would deliver new systems as quickly as possible in return, so that Germany could continue to meet its NATO obligations, said Defence Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD). ‘This commitment from the US side is there.’ Germany can therefore support Ukraine first with launchers and then with further system components.     Good to see their renewed promises against Russia have held up so far. Rutte has also done well to tie in NATO obligations to contributions towards the defence of Ukraine

  6. Well, which is it, two **systems** or two **batteries**? Big difference.

Much more important is the commitment by Germany to deliver each year hundreds of long range missiles (up to 3000 kilometers) build in Germany with Ukraine design (based on Neptune missiles from Ukraine). Ukraine absolutely needs long range destruction capability. This is nice but Ukraine needs also tools to stop the drone’s devastating usage by Russia on civilian infrastructures above everything else.

    At least Orange Man and his minions are now understanding the fact that Putin do not want peace and only total obedience.

  8. Thats double as positive 🙂

    First two more very effective Systems and second its lot more flexible since the german Patriots are mounted to MAN trucks so they can be quickly moved to different positions.

    That btw is the reason they shot down that one russian A-50 Radar plane, the Patriot system was moved near the front at night, shot the A-50 AWACS down and was quickly moved back home.

    And these A-50 are more than valuable to the russians.

  12. This is a common practice for the russian c. This can be easily illustrated with surnames. Many families have stories of how Ukrainian surnames were Russified by adding typical Russian suffixes such as -ov or -ev. Thus, by means of these documents, Ukrainians were “turned into” Russians. A Zhuravel would become a Zhuravliov, while a Shvets would become a Shevtsov. The same colonial modification applied to the names of cities. This is why we now insist on saying Kyiv instead of Kiev, Mykolaiv instead of Nikolaev, Kharkiv instead of Kharkov, Odesa instead of Odessa, and so on, because this marks these cities as Ukrainian, not Russian. [https://ukrainer.net/russia-russified/](https://ukrainer.net/russia-russified/)
