  1. Was legit expecting a full Logan Roy-esque ‘fuck off!’

  2. why does Brian Cox spend so much time pontificating on politics being someone so remarkably vacuous. terrible bore

  3. I think 25 years for something so monumental would be a good compromise. This is not like a general election where we can change things after a few years, or less.

  4. Says an obnoxious foul mouthed twat that hasn’t lived in Scotland for years yet things he has the right to encourage people to break up the United Kingdom. Absolutely disgusting horrible excuse of a human being 🤮

  5. I hope I live long enough to see an independent Scotland so let’s not wait 50 years.

  6. Why does the opinion of two people who do not live in Scotland matter?

  7. I mean fuck trump but also I don’t think we should be getting our counter arguments from actors who don’t even live in the country

  8. Brian Cox? As in Brian Cox who doesn’t even live in Scotland and won’t have to suffer the consequences of the neverendum? Nice.

  9. Not at all in favour of Scottish independence as I think it’ll be a disaster financially for Scotland and the rest of the UK.

But Donald Trump can fuck off.

  10. Funnily enough it’s got fuck all to do with that orange American pedo cunt

  11. I can’t stand Cox, but I support the ability for people’s self determination so Trump is miles off on this one and should shut his yap about it.

  12. I feel like there should be a least 25, a good generation later.

  13. I hope my children live in an independent Scotland I’ve already accepted that my generation ballsed it up by being cowards but the next generation we leave behind in many ways are so much more smarter.

  14. The circumstances of the last indy vote were very different to now. Brexit changed everything. The orange fuckwit is not entirely off the mark as frequent referendums just end up with the country flip-flopping but a break that long is only fair as long as the circumstances haven’t changed aged too much.

Most of the No vote back then was based on the objectively correct outlook that an indy Scotland would not be able to join the EU so staying united in the EU was the better choice.

Then Brexit takes us out the EU and Scotland just got fucked over despite overwhelming voting against Brexit, the small minded rural England and Wales dragged Scotland down with them. An Indy Scotland has a better chance(not 100% still because of Spain) of joining the EU now than it did back then simply because the EU is more sympathetic to Scotland after we got dragged out against our will, Brexit is such a major circumstance change that Scotland did not agree to that asking for another referendum is a completely fair ask.
