Docler Group has announced job cuts in Luxembourg as the company is replacing parts of its workforce with artificial intelligence.
Docler, which is a major player in adult entertainment and also operates in the technology, e-commerce, digital media, and event management sectors, told the Luxembourg Times on Friday that it is undergoing a “significant reorganisation process” in cooperation with its subsidiaries, including Byborg Enterprises.
The move, which will include workforce reductions, comes as the group accelerates its integration of artificial intelligence across business operations.
Docler said the restructuring process started more than a year ago and is expected to conclude by the end of this summer. The company cited “evolving global market dynamics and other external factors as key drivers behind the overhaul.”

The company said that the final number of employees who will be affected by cuts or which subsidiaries will undergo layoffs will be released next week.
The Luxembourg Times reported in May that Luxembourg firms are among the EU’s fastest adopters of artificial intelligence, though concerns persist over the impact on skilled jobs.
“The group began embracing digital transformation and artificial intelligence approximately one and a half years ago as one of the necessary actions and countermeasures to guarantee the continuity of the business and the company in the future,” the group said in a statement sent to this newspaper.
The reorganisation includes automating key workflows and deploying AI-powered tools in selected departments. As a result, the company acknowledged that “the integration of AI in certain functions and departments will necessarily reduce the need for manual processes. Because of this, some subsidiaries of the group are expected to undergo […] workforce adjustments in the coming weeks.”
The group employs around 1,500 people across five countries, and it is currently marking its 25th anniversary in the Grand Duchy.

The announcement follows mounting speculation about job cuts within Docler’s and Byborg’s Luxembourg offices.
In several Reddit threads – some later removed – users claiming to be employees or close to the matter referenced internal uncertainty and said staff had been warned of upcoming layoffs. “They fired me. Honestly? I’d most like to erase these two months from my life”, wrote one user.
This is not the first time Docler has undergone structural changes. In 2022, the company centralised several business functions under the Byborg umbrella as part of an effort to streamline operations and reduce overhead.
In 2024, Byborg Enterprises – owned by adult cam site LiveJasmin founder György Gattyán – agreed to buy 20% of Playboy owner PLBY Group for $22.5 million (€21 million) in new shares.
