Should fines issued because of governmemt inaction be paid for by the state? Surely those in charge should have to foot the bill, because nothing will change if its not effecting them personally
This government must sit on their holes day in day out staring at walls.
Remind me, is that the law that says “You can request the right to flexible working. And your employer can tell you to shove it up your arse”?
That never made sense to me. I can request my employer lets me waltz into the office in a lime green mankini with my bollocks hanging out the side.
Everyone should be outraged. That’s a piddly amount
Most people prefer working in the office. More productive.
We are constantly paying fines for EU legislation and treaties that our governments sign up to. However it is us that pay the fines.
The fines should be replaced by budget restrictions. The EU have a rule about overspending on Budgets. The budget restrictions should be increased to adhere to the fines and the money saved over to the next government, providing they can adhere to the shit they signed up for.
That way, the governments that propose a load of shit cannot spend the money but we the people don’t lose out. The money just gets held until somebody else uses it properly.
Laziest bunch of cunts. They just don’t give a fuck.
What the whole country?
Work Life Balance Act – the one that gives you the right to request a work life balance, but gives no legal obligation for the employer to allow it in any way shape or form..
Its toothless
Tell the EU to f off
The fine should continue because as far as I’m concerned they haven’t implemented a proper system to allow people appeal a rejection of a request.
Surely other countries have done this right and we should just follow what they’ve done, not some half arsed attempt that Leo implemented to try pull the wool over our eyes.
