Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be dealing with a lot, but they’re not sweating it. Amid all the royal craziness, Meghan and Harry have decided to soak up the sun with their kiddos, and get going with son Prince Archie‘s surfing lessons.
In photos obtained by TMZ, we can see Meghan and Harry at Santa Claus Beach in Carpinteria, Calif., on Aug 1. Not only was it a family fun time, but it was also time for Archie to continue his surfing lessons!
Fans first caught a glimpse of Archie’s love for surfing back in 2025 when surfing professional Raimana Van Bastolaer posted photos of him practicing. Then royal fans remembered that Harry is a big surfer, so he definitely got it from his papa! (Plus, it’s ultra-sweet when you remember Princess Diana surfed a lot back in the day!)

For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. Since then, they’ve welcomed two children together, named Prince Archie, born in May 2019, and Princess Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
In a previous interview with People, Meghan talked about the “learning curve” in motherhood.
“There are tons of twists and turns — even with the name. I was figuring it out in real time,” she said. “I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It’s a learning curve.”
