Sunday’s pre-season clash against Newcastle United represents our ninth match in South Korea over five visits since 2005.
Suwon hosted our first game here on 16 July, 2005 as part of the Peace Cup where we lined up alongside Lyon, PSV, Real Sociedad, Boca Juniors, Once Caldas (Colombia), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) and local side Seognam Ilhwa.
We were last in Seoul this time last year with two matches against Team K League and FC Bayern.
Don’t forget we kick-off against Newcastle at 12noon UK time on Sunday – and you can watch live on SPURSPLAY.
