Volleyball, Romania convincingly defeats Kosovo
The Romanian national team has scored its second victory in the qualifiers for the EuroVolley 2026 Women’s European Volleyball Championship, defeating Kosovo with a clean score of 3:0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-16), in the match held at the “Bill Clinton” gym in Ferizaj.
After a narrow loss to Croatia, Romania came back with determination in this match and from the start took control with accurate serves and powerful attacks, convincingly winning the first set 25-12.
Kosovo reacted with more consistency in the second set, relying on the support of the audience and improving their defensive play.
Despite the fight shown, the Dardanian girls failed to overturn their opponent’s lead, and the set ended 25-20 for Romania.
The third set was in the same vein, with Romania maintaining its composure and efficiency in the game, to close the match with a final score of 25-16.
This is Romania’s second win in three matches, placing them in second place in Group G, behind the leading and still undefeated Croatia.
