Coumshingaun Lough for anyone interested, the view and the entire loop was absolutely fabulous. It was a rather strenuous climb up and we took frequent breaks to catch our breaths, but well worth it in the end.

Gorgeous views, horrible/tough hike
My favourite beer!
It’s a tough one, alright. Even if you’re fit, you definitely use muscles that aren’t normally used on a hike like that.
I’d love to know what it’s like in depths of winter as I can imagine it gets tougher under foot. Fair play OP, enjoy that beer!
Enjoy that lad. 🍻
Had that beer for the first time ever yesterday and now I’m seeing it on Reddit that’s so weird
Is it harder than Glendalough white loop?
Brings tears to my eyes
At least the sandwich wasn’t warm and gassy when he ate it.
I loved that beer when I was over in Prague but I haven’t seen it in Ireland. Where can I get it?

That is a beautiful part of the Comeraghs. It’s easy to do on a clear sunny day. If you go up the left side there is a small bit of a scramble up a rock face. Iv done it in the depths of snow as well and that was a bit scary. Amazing views at the top. There is also a lovely walk across the top of the plateau which leads back to the top of Mahon Fall. Well worth doing.
Try also the Pilsner Urquell, it’s nice too!
