Elizabeth Line: Done! My friends walked the entire Elizabeth Line (well… almost) – 38 Miles, 82,000 Steps, and over £2000 raised for Tommy’s – the baby charity!

They did it! After 15 hours, 20 stops, ten London boroughs, (and one slightly terrifying foot tunnel), Dave & Dave's Elizabeth Line walk is officially DONE – and they’re still (just about) standing.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported them — the response has been overwhelming, and they've so far raised £2,070 (+ £418 Gift Aid!) for Tommy’s, the baby charity. That’s over 50 donations from friends, family, colleagues, and some kind Reddit strangers – some as far afield as the US and Australia.

Some highlights from the day from the Daves:

• Being stopped in the street by two ladies on a hen do who thanked us for supporting Tommy’s – genuinely one of the sweetest moments.
• Catching the view over the Thames from Canary Wharf that made the aching feet (almost) disappear.
• Crossing two separate peninsulas – one via a charming pedestrian bridge, the other through a slightly decrepit (and probably haunted) foot tunnel.
• The incredible messages of support that kept our legs moving long after they wanted to stop.

..and the lowlights (because balance is important):

• Finishing in the dark after 10:30pm – the longest tube line walk yet (and possibly the most knackered we’ve ever been).
• Negotiating not one, but TWO peninsulas. What kind of line is this?!

Once again – thank you for your support. Dave, Dave and their friends have now raised over £22,000 since 2015 for children’s and baby charities through these annual Tube treks, and this was easily one of the most memorable.
